GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• IMLACHS offers a 6 month or 25,000km Parts Only warranty on used parts from invoice purchase date (whichever comes first) with every used part sold unless otherwise specified.
• 6 month or 25,000km, 12 months or 50,000km and 24 months or 100,000km (whichever comes first) Extended Parts & Labour warranties are also available on request with from our sales representatives and will be written on our invoice when they apply.
• All panels sold are rust-free and carry a lifetime rust-out warranty.
• IMLACHS will supply free of charge all components required to rectify any authorised claims, and reserves the right to supply used components in certain circumstances.
  
• All claims must be made to IMLACHS must be accompanied by our official invoice. All repairs effected without IMLACHS written consent will be the responsibility of the customer.
  
• Warranty is void if parts are dismantled or tampered with or payment for parts has not been cleared or has been dishonoured or Core Deposit unit has not been returned

          Parts returned under warranty must be complete, as sold.

• Part returns must be received within 14 days of invoice date. A 20% handling charge will be incurred for parts "No Longer Required". Part returns must be accompanied with an official invoice. 
  
• Incorrect or faulty parts returned will be at IMLACHS' expense (IMLACHS reserves the right to use the freight company of their choice).
• IMLACHS cannot accept returns on specially ordered parts or cut body sections
• IMLACHS will not be responsible for any consequential loss including hire cars, accommodation, damage, loss of income, or demurrage/down time because of the failure of the part sold or delayed part delivery.
• Warranty is non transferable.

IMLACHS will always endeavour to provide the correct part based on our customer's description. Onus is on the customer to check the part is correct at the time of delivery. If this is not possible, customer must check part is correct prior to any installation, preparation and/or painting. No compensation can be claimed by customer who fails to check part for correctness.

In the event of receiving a faulty part, Imlachs Auto Parts reserves the first right of exchanging or re-suppling the item for another.

•   Labour costs will not be met unless an official Repair Authority (R.A.) has been approved by IMLACHS.
• Engines are sold as long bare. Accessories and manifolds, if fitted, are not covered by warranty and are not guaranteed to be correct for your model. Closely examine them before installation and swap parts from your original engine where necessary.
• IMLACHS will not recognise any warranty claim where any failure or defect is caused by:
  
• Insufficient or incorrect oil and/or lubricants
• Overheating and/or heat tab missing
• Misuse, overloading, accidents or negligence
• Failure to carry out proper maintenance
• Unauthorised repairs, alterations or dismantling
• Improper application or installation
• Warranty card must be completed in full and returned to IMLACHS within 14 days of invoice date including speedo reading.

Note: In the event of any preliminary signs of malfunction, it is the customer's responsibility to cease operation and to immediately report the problem to IMLACHS. Failure to comply with this condition may result in more serious consequential damage and void any warranty entitlement.

1. In the event of any claim being declined, IMLACHS reserves the right to recover out-of-pocket expenses incurred in transporting, dismantling and inspection, such costs to be reimbursed by the customer prior to re delivery of the part and/or collection of the vehicle.
2. In the event of any dispute, a mutually acceptable third party opinion is to be obtained to adjudicate on claims.
   IMLACHS cannot be held responsible for any implied or verbal representations.

 ELECTRICAL ITEMS 

• Electrical items are not to be used for testing purposes on your vehicle.
• Electrical items are non refundable and can only be exchanged. Even if purchased and you find it was not the problem with the item.

MAKING A CLAIM FOR MAJOR MECHANICAL ITEMS

Repair Authorisation Number (R.A.) must be obtained from IMLACHS prior to commencement of any repairs. No claim will be recognised without an official R.A. Number. Contact your IMLACHS sales representative for an official R.A. Claim Form to be faxed to you.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to return the part freight paid.

These Terms and Conditions are clearly displayed in our sales area. This warranty is given in addition to and notwithstanding any rights the customer may have under State or Commonwealth.
